The Loves Park Police Department operates small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS), commonly known as drones, to assist in various public safety operations. In compliance with the Illinois Drones as First Responders Act (PA 103-0101) and the Illinois Freedom from Drone Surveillance Act (725 ILCS 167/), the department is committed to transparency and accountability. As required by law, we have made our drone policy available to the public for review.
