National Night Out

The Loves Park Police Department collaborates with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office and the Village of Machesney Park, Illinois, to host an Annual National Night Out event at Harlem High School on the first Tuesday of August from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This free public event includes:

K-9 Demonstration

DUI Demonstration

"National Night Out" is a celebration designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spririt and community partnership, and to send a clear message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and are fighting back! Each year, over 10,000 communities celebrate "National Night Out".
