The Loves Park Police Department conducts hiring for new police officers approximately every 1-2 years, under the direction of the Loves Park Civil Service Commission. In order to be eligible, persons should be citizens of the United States, between the ages of 21-35 at the time of application, vision corrected 20/20, education - high school diploma or its equivalent, and be of good health and good moral character.
